So who is this “Kack-yo-koo-hee-meh”?
By day, I am your average, everyday desk-job graphic designer. By night (and weekends), I am a cosplayer*, video gamer, OTAKU**, and all around artist.
My first experiences as a video gamer began with my brother and my first gaming console: the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Through the NES, I learned the ways of shooting ducks (and a nagging dog…fruitlessly) and watched my brother destroy bats and skeletons in order to get a glowing triangle.
With my hair adorned with a bright purple ribbon in a high ponytail and wearing a silk kimono from my 16th birthday, my first cosplay was Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin. The opportunity to actually create my cosplay did not arrive for another four years with Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII.
Video games and cosplaying feed my inner OTAKU. Given the right anime and lack of time restraints, my obsession can lead to several days and nights of marathons. Needless to say, the longest marathon I have had was during the days of ample vacation time before having a daily job.
Included in my love of art is my love of song. I LOVE music. Give me a good song with the right tune, and I will sing my mezzo-soprano heart out. Outside of music, I also use my vocal talents voice acting as Kirche in the Familiar of Zero Abridged, amongst other anime and video game parodies.
I hope that is enough info to get a glimpse into who I am. Want to know more? Don’t forget to follow my blog, my Twitter, my Facebook page, and my YouTube channel!
