By the Sea

Hello lovely people! I’m super excited to announce (if you didn’t see my retweet yesterday) that I’m on the back cover of Dye’s latest issue! That’s like the front cover of a Japanese magazine!

Dye Magazine, Issue No. 16 Volume 1, September 2016

This cover features me as a mermaid washed ashore on the sandy (and rocky) beach of Crab Cove in Alameda, California. Although this fulfills one of my lifelong dreams of becoming (a more mature, responsible) Ariel, I can’t help but think of myself as Ursula’s younger sister with my dark scales matching the deep tones of purple in my hair and makeup.

The rest of my published photos from this photoshoot set can be found immediately prior to the back cover. These photos also feature my gorgeous sister, Divii Drowned, who looks more like the queen of Atlantis with her prism-colored hair while I would be the queen of the Nether-Sea.

Koi. Perfect illustration of yang and yin, light and dark.

BIG thanks again to the amazing duo: Temira (Yellow Bubbles Photography) and Amber (Spoiled Cherry for wardrobe and styling – can you believe she made these fins??!?), with talented makeup artist, Courtney.

And if you want to have my photos from this magazine along with a bunch of other amazingly talented women, you can purchase this issue of Dye Magazine via MagCloud.

That’s all for now! Thank you all so much for your love and support ❤
